| The gayfeathers are beginning to bloom. This shot is of one that came up volunteer last year. It has grown nicely, no doubt benefitting from the moisture we've gotten this summer. I think that moisture has made the shoots so heavy they droop over. Several of the older, bigger ones are more horizontal than usual. |
